Anybody have software that will import a 3d pdf file and export to a neutral CAD format?

I can export a 3d pdf from Cimatron, but can only import pdfs as drawing files.

I have a customer supplied 3d pdf they want a mold quoted for, but it's hard to give an accurate quote with a glorify image file.

You're not going ot get any meaningful CAD from a 3D PDF. At best an STL, and worst a WRL/VRML file.

I used to have a full seat of adobe and there were options inside of it to output cad.

Looks like there may be yet:

Might be worth a free trial to test it if  you'd like. I think it will really depend on the old attage of "what goes in will be what you get out". How good was the file you got from cimatron and especially what type of data it was.
