Clearly you know less than what I thought.

Quote from: Bucky Cornstarch on July 29, 2024, 10:04 AMSo you're saying that conservatives see idiotic things that libards do and then emulate it? That's even lamer than being a whiny, oppressed little bitch.

Nope, they see the Libtards getting everything they want by being whiny little bitches and figure can't beat them, may as well join them.

Correct, my brain contains actual facts, and thoughts based in reality.

If you think this is 1976 and everybody sits around the TV at 6PM and watches Walter Cronkite, then you are even more delusional than your posts indicate. There is a reason that nutcon echo chambers such as this one regurgitate the exact same talking points as the other nutcon echo chambers out there. I don't know if you guys all just feed off each other, or if there is some master source where you get your information, but let me assure you, none of it is original, and none of it deviates.

Is Jocko an originator, or a rebroadcast?

Conservatives used to rely on the fact the populace wasn't completely overrun by imbeciles. Sadly, since the 60's the imbeciles have been winning most of the battles. Primary, Secondary and Post-Secondary education have been completely overrun by leftist imbeciles for going on 3 generations now.
They aren't imbeciles because they think differently than conservatives, they are imbeciles if only for the fact  they don't think there are consequences to anything.
They think they can cheat in elections and suffer no consequences.
They think they can just print more money and suffer no consequences.
They think they can murder innocent children and suffer no consequences.
They think they can burn down our cities and suffer no consequences.
They think they can release violent prisoners and suffer no consequences.
They think they can reduce the punishment for crimes and suffer no consequences.

I can go on and on, and on, and on, and on, ad infinitum.

The fact of the matter is there are consequences to every single one of these things and one day those consequences are going to manifest in ways we can't even begin to imagine. When will that happen? I dunno. Nobody knows. But the price WILL be paid.

Is Jocko political?

I've seen clips of him on Fox or some podcasts but have never listened to or watched him?   I have no idea what he's about.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

That question really isn't really specific enough but I'll do my best.

Originator in that he created his own Podcast? Yes...He picks the books to cover (often at the suggestion of listeners) and/or picks the guests. Echo Charles handles most of the technical duties (i.e. publishing to the Podcast Channel, YouTube and Jocko Underground) with back up from another guy from time to time who's name escapes me at the moment.  Originator in that he wrote all the books he covers? No. Not even close. There's well over 500 Episodes if you include the Underground Episodes, Warrior Kid Episodes, Standard Directives, Unraveling, and the Debriefs.

Rebroadcast? His Podcasts are not live. They are pre-recorded and released. The Jocko Podcast is the one that runs like clockwork for the most part. Every Tuesday. Some weeks it'll come Wednesday or Thursday. The others are a little less regular.

Not really political at all. He's had Tulsi Gabbard on twice her books a Journey of Conviction and FOr Love of Country covered) and RFK Jr. (American Values: Lessons...). But it wasn't about the politics of left vs. right per se. It comes up but it's not even close to the primary focus.

Every book, every Podcast, every guest is literally about leadership. Successes, failures, lessons learned, etc...

He even goes over books for people he is no fan of... to learn. Latest book of someone he dislikes intensely; Robert S. McNamara: In Retrospect. Of ALL the Sec. Defs we've had in the US's history, this guy was the biggest piece of shit and 2nd place isn't even in the same galaxy. But... there are lessons to be learned even from massive pieces of shit like McNamara.

I think he pisses off hardcore conservatives and hardcore liberals alike. Jocko reminds of my High School Government and Econ teacher. You never really know where he stands but he asks the correct questions and lets you figure out the answer for yourself.

What's he about? He wrote "Extreme Ownership" with a fellow SEAL Leif Babin. He's about working the problem. WHEN stuff goes wrong, do you look in the mirror or do you point out other people's failures? The book is about looking in the mirror and changing all the things you can change within yourself and your situation and not worrying about other's part in the failures.

It's a good book. It really changed my perspective in own life and how I approach a lot of things. I'm still a work in progress with a long way to go.

The sad thing is, that happens on both sides. You should hear some of the stuff my wife says about Trump. She'll say some outlandish thing and before long I'll be reading about it online.

My small, smooth brain would interpret "outlandish" as untrue, fictional, or lies.  Not really sure of the true definition, didn't Google it
