Just looking at some of the things that made him popular, they don't look like things I'd be interested in watching.

It must be a generational thing?  I don't see too many people in their 50's and 60's (or older) watching some dude spin a fidget spinner for hours, or counting to 100,000.  My youtube feed is filled with music, fishing, home repair stuff, some automotive.  Occasionally some debates on things that interest me.
I watch those things too, I also watch all the brain rot on Tik Tok and ig and you tube shorts

I have seen his name come up a few times, but I have never seen his videos. For a while I thought he was the liver eating guy who admitted to using steroids.

My coworker is under 30 and pretty much lives in tik tok. I've watched it a couple of times but could never get into to it.

Mr.Beast is a gamer and YouTuber/influencer, he has the most highly subscribed YouTube channel in the world, he recently said he would run for president if they lowered the aged limit, it's currently thirty five, which Mr beast is not lol

I have a few online friends that I met through gaming.  They'll sit around and just watch other people game on twitch.  One of the guys will just sit and watch people eat stuff. It's weird.  :lol:

My grandkids like his videos. I tire of them quickly. the exaggerated loud talking in those videos makes me want to throw the TV out the house.

Seems like an honest guy to me. I inly watch him every once in a while.

I heard about the video but didn't care enough to watch it. Honestly it's probably just someone looking for 5 minutes of fame. Put Mr.Beast in the title of a YT video and you're bound to get some extra clicks
