If I create a path and select a tool. it gets the feeds and speeds from the tool. But If I copy that same path and select a different tool it will not change the speeds and feeds. Anybody else notice this? Am I missing a setting somewhere?

update: never mind I just figured out there is a setting to lock feed rates in the config file

There's a bug in at least a few toolpaths (opti, for example) where if you change the feeds & speeds, then exit the page (say, go to the Cut Parameters page instead), it'll revert the feeds & speeds.  You have to hit "apply" to keep the changes.   It's documented on the official forum.

I switched back to 2024 today. too many odd things going for my liking.

I pulled up an an old program, 4 years old, the retract height on all of the drills was set to 0.00. there were a lot of different z heights on the part so going through and figuring out what all of those retract heights were supposed to be was a real pain in the ass. I finally pulled the program up in 2024. All of the retract heights populate correctly.

I use the X+ setup sheet. When I selected the toolpaths to create the setup sheet it only created the setup sheet for about 2/3 of the paths. Odd, I thought, I must not have selected them all. Did it again, making sure to select them all and it created the setup sheet with a few more than last time, but still leaving off some. repeated the process and it got still more but not all. tried again and it got them all that time.  Not sure if that's a problem with X+ or MC2025.

I don't have time for those shenanigans. went back to 2024
