If there is uproar where would you hear about that uproar at?

Time and time again, people have gone into poor urban areas and asked people on the street if they had some form of ID. Not one time have I seen a US citizen claim they had no (as in not even a birth certificate) form of ID.

This is white shamed liberals claiming poor people of color are too stupid or are incapable of getting identification.

I haven't spent a lot of time on this. I'm just curious why Republicans care so much about who the Dem delegates choose to run. The *only* complaints I've heard are coming from people who I would think would be happy that Kamala, who isn't (or wasn't) a popular pick, was the choice.

It was obvious that voting for Biden was going to be a 'hold your nose' vote for the left. I don't think it would matter who they put in there.

Never in my life have I ever encountered a "citizen" without some form of government issued identification, nor has anyone I know.

If there are adult citizens out there that do not have this, they are in that position by choice, and they are not really part of the process anyway, which again, is completely up to them. I prefer an informed electorate because what we have now is insane. 

It is the fact the Demonrats do not have access to these people and their vote that upsets them the most. The left hasn't shrieked this loudly since we told 'em they could no longer own slaves.

PRK has 2 different licenses/ID's - a Real ID® and a "Federal Restrictions Apply" ID. By default you do not get the real ID, so you cannot purchase firearms or get through security at an airport.

How about we do voter ID (I'm asked to show my ID here in MI) and we allow in person voting over several days, including at least one weekend.

OK are you going to pay election staff to sit there for several days, and a weekend, for both the Primary and General Elections?

Because I am a paid Judge of Election, and we have trouble getting people to work at the polls for just those two days per year, even when they get paid for doing it.

Once again, harsh reality interferes with pie-in-the-sky liberalism.

Here's a better idea that is actually practical.
One day in-person Primary voting in all 50 states, and then one day in-person voting for the General election, and we all act like fucking adults and get ourselves there on that day and have ID when we get there.

Go back to absentee balloting by mail for people who are unable to be there for legitimate health reasons, or vacations, or business trips.
Once again, rational adults can and should be able to plan things like that in advance.
