Well anyway I'm glad they announced it before the convention because that gives JD Vance more of an opportunity to do his homework ahead of any VP candidate debates.

Strategically Walz is a good pick for Harris. He is her opposite as far as public perception. He is a mild mannered, soft spoken, likeable guy. He has legislated pretty far left, but because of his demeanor and persona he has been able to fool MN voters for quite a while into thinking he is a moderate.
