Quote from: MIL-TFP-41 on August 06, 2024, 12:17 PM...the GOP is a bunch of spineless pussies afraid of him, otherwise they would of put of a decent candidate during the primary's...or at least a candidate that wasn't just going and licking Trumps butt after he shits.

What you talkin' bout Willis?

DeSantis, Haley, and Ramaswamy all ran legit campaigns but couldn't match Trump during the Primaries.

There were also a few fringe candidates like Chris Christie, Tim Scott, Asa Hutchinson, and Mike Pence who also threw their hats into the ring, but again, didn't get the support they needed to challenge Trump.

It wasn't the GOP party itself that made the decision, it was the voters.

If you can name another Republican who could have had a chance to beat Trump in the Primaries I would like to hear it, but as far as I can see everyone who is anyone in the GOP took their shot and lost.

Trump easily defeated all comers in the primaries
He beat them all like rented mules... and the liberal press helped him do it
cause he's the guy they want to run against.

I think he's exhausted.. he's pushing 80, he's been campaigning for 4 years straight and fighting
bullshit legal battles on 3 or 4 different fronts.

The Biden for Harris swap threw him for a loop.
He's always said stupid shit, but lately he's been saying really stupid shit.
He's looking, acting and talking like a loser since Harris came on board.
I think he's all done.

At one point or another every candidate you mentioned has kissed Trump's ass. So maybe the GOP voters don't like ass kissers...or they think...why not vote for the guy who gets his ass kissed by the others?

Don't get me wrong, I would rather see Trump over Harris for POTUS. I am a realist at the same time & follow just enough to see what public opinion is. So I suppose this is a case of hope for the best, expect the worse.

It doesn't matter what we do, we really have no say in the matter.
the results are already built in.. the actual race and election is just kabuki theater
to give the masses the illusion that they live in a democracy.

I'm not sure how it's going to play out. I don't see how Trumps doesn't win?

I do believe that if Kamala wins, all of this fake outrage about how she got chose as the candidate is going to turn in to real outrage.

I just want things to go back to normal again.  :sofa:

You seem like a smart enough guy, why do you insist on spewing this BS? I get that it's nice to have the little election fraud nugget in your back pocket in case your guy loses again, but all you are doing is spreading lies. If you aren't careful, one of the eleven people who visit this board might actually believe you, come to the conclusion that voting is pointless, and not participate this November. Now that would really skew the results.
