During Covid, Tyrant Timmy as he was called then by the local morning talk radio guys, declared emergency powers. He kept extending it over and over. The legislature took him to court to make him have to go to the legislature in lieu of executive orders. He still renewed his emergency powers and kept declaring law as he saw fit. IIRC it ended up at the state supreme court before he finally had to back down.
