I also just saw 'Killers of the Flower Moon'.

Good film based on a true story, but @ almost 3.5 hours, way WAY too long. 

DeCaprio was very good in his role, and DeNiro played a self-righteous two-faced old prick, which wasn't a stretch for him. 

Scorsese has always been known to push the limits, and I think 3.5 hours is about as far as I want to go.

It's loooooooong, but a very interesting true story.

The mistreatment of the Osage people is just another sad chapter in American history, but it is true.

I would rather face a sad truth than to be like some of these revisionist historians today who want to basically re-write history with the intent of removing anything that makes people feel sad.
It's pathetic and dangerous.

The Osage were and still are a proud people who were horribly mistreated, so we need to be reminded of those things from our past rather than just casting them aside to try to spare someone's feelings.

We went to see Deadpool and Wolverine yesterday. I honestly didn't expect much but it was a pretty fun and entertaining movie.

I'm not a big Ryan Reynolds fan, he's the same role in every movie he makes. But he's probably at his best doing Deadpool.

I don't recall either of those movies.

Looking at his history he's really been in a lot of stuff in his career. I think his newest stuff is more of the fast talking Deadpool type stuff because it's worked for him?

He was in the movie "IF" which I took the grand kids to see. The kids liked it, I thought it was OK. He did drop the Deadpool persona for that one.

I just watched the first episode of Time Bandits. I thought it was a gas. Of course I really enjoyed the movie oh so long ago. The production values are high and of course the special effects are so much better than back in 1981 though I have to say that the cow scull muppets of the original were pretty creepy looking.

My wife and I have started watching "Your Honor" on Netflix. Really enjoying it!

'Your Honor' is great.  Too bad they only did two seasons.

I saw the first episode of 'For All Mankind' last night.
The alternate timeline is weird, but so far it looks like it will be an interesting series.

It has been on for 4 seasons, so it must be at least a little bit popular.

Ted Lasso is pretty good (finished season 1).
Stranger Things is good! (started season 2).
From is really good... (on season 2 now)
Supernatural is okish. (still on season 1)
Narco is good (watching 3 of diff ones, all similar. El Chapo - Spanish original, and I know some Spanish))
House of Cards (not too bad) (on season 1) meh
The Mandolorian (I like it. A lot)
Peaky Blinders (pretty graphic, not bad)
