What exactly is the job of the vice president and what kind of policy power do they have? Isn't the VP literally named the worst job in America? 

Normally, yes, it's the worst job in America. But in this administration, when its obvious that Biden doesn't have the mental capacity for the job, someone in that administration is making decisions. Who is it? No one will tell us. But Biden often refers to being told what to do.  Whose telling him what to do? Is it the VP? Jill? Chief of Staff? All of the above?

why can't it be both? There are levels of management at every organization. It's very possible, even likely that Obama and Pelosi, have someone who sits in on meetings to help direct Biden to do this or that.

I've seen that there is some criticism saying that one of the things on her agenda is to get rid of the Trump middle class tax cuts but don't those sunset on their own at the end of 2025?

She was not the mastermind of anything.. she was a DEI hire.
Clearly she was an outstanding hooker.
She's has been a heartbeat away from the highest office in the land for the last 3.5 years and it looks like
she will be sworn in as President in Jan 2025.
