My wife's parents are democrats. I don't really care who they vote for and if their guy\gal wins, I get past it. But if the person, I vote for wins, it's miserable at my house for a long time.

When I go to my g/f's family get together I never talk about politics. Even if someone brings it up or asks me a question. I just tell them I don't follow closely enough.  If someone asked who I vote for I would tell them it's none of their business.

But it doesn't really matter. You compare Harris to Stalin and naturally you don't want to vote for Stalin.

I compare Harris to Trump and there's no way I'm voting for Trump.

I have seen nothing in Harris' policies that suggest she would turn the U.S. into Russia. I have no idea what you see that makes you think of Stalin.

I hate the term 'czar' but whether that term applies or not, it WAS her responsibility, and she failed miserably.

Trump actually tightened the border by Executive Order, which Biden promptly rescinded on his first day.

So yeah, one candidate has given lip service to the border situation, and one actually did something about it...
