Anyone hear about this?
Imagine if you're being held hostage in Russia, only to come home and find that the IRS is coming after you for not paying your taxes while being held hostage.
This is disgusting.

At least Chuck Schumer had a rational thought about it.

The IRS is a terrorist organization. That story does not surprise me one single bit. They need to be abolished that's all there is to it.

When I had my own company, my first year I had more write-offs than income. Once I "broke even" (meaning I was getting back all that I paid in) I disregarded the remaining write-offs because I didn't feel right about taking more than I put in.

Well... since no good deed goes unpunished with those terrorists I got audited. So, I tried (in vain) to explain to the agent that you REALLY do not want to audit me because you'll be sending ME a check, not the other way around. He was not impressed by my pleadings. I did not under report my income as they allege, I under-reported my write-offs FFS.

Long story short, I file an amended return and submitted ALL my write-offs. Their audit didn't find shit and in the end I got another check for a few $k

I fuckin hate those rat bastards with every fiber of my being.
