Do you think you just had the flu? Or was it worse than any flu you've ever had?

I've only had the flu like 2 maybe 3 times in my life, and the last time was when I was about 13 or 14. So about 1983-ish. Never had the flu shot, never get the flu.
I get a cold once or twice a year when the seasons change to and from winter, that's it.
I do consider myself to be one of the lucky ones who rarely gets sick.

I've said here before - my 'ol chap hasn't had a cold since before I was born. He's 86 now.
He takes a spoon of apple cider vinegar, and a garlic capsule every day.

Wasn't that a heavily edited Project Veritas video?  In the full transcript, he wasn't warning his employees not to get vaccinated. He was skeptical about the vaccine modifying your DNA and RNA, which it doesn't.

Nobody likes that guy anyway.

I was vaccinated because my girlfriend works for a school and had a immunocompromised grandfather who was in his 90's. I would have felt like a real ass hole if I would have infected him and he would have died.  If I were by myself, I wouldn't have got it and I wouldn't get it again. Not because of the conspiracy theories (most of what I've seen are easily debunked), but because I felt like I was healthy enough to deal with it on my own. That and the vaccination made me feel like shit.

I say that I thought I was healthy enough to deal with it but just watched a friend of mine, the same age as I am but MUCH healthier, die from Covid. This was in January.  To date I've known about 12 people who have died from Covid.
