100 degrees here today. I don't think it's rained in 3 weeks. Lawn is totally brown.

4 days of upper 90"s here. but we really can't complain. August has been really pleasant this year often getting into the 50's overnight. suppose to cool back down over the weekend.

86 here today. We have had one of the rainiest summers in the 14 years I have lived in MN. I have yet to turn on my in-ground sprinklers and my lawn is the greenest and thickest it has ever been.

I recently read that there is a northeastern jet stream that keeps hitting record wind speeds. They were saying that some normally 4 hour flights are shaving close to an hour of time because of the speeds. They have recorded 800+ mph speeds. Some flights are breaking the speed of sound but because they are in a 600mph jet stream there isn't a boom.

It's been up around 100 here for a couple of months, with a few breaks. Tomorrow it's supposed to start a string of days in the 80s.

UK it's rained and rained and rained and rained yet they said it was the hottest June ever :hrhr:
Night time temps drove the average up.
Here in Spain, been nice with no hotter days than usual (to me) but what has been noticeable this year, is lack of breeze and hotter overnight temps.
