Out of curiosity, has anyone installed the Vericut 9.5.1 update?

And if so, is anyone getting STEP file read errors? I have a project which opened fine in 9.5, but opens with STEP file read errors in 9.5.1. If I reinstall V9.5, it again opens fine.

Neither did I. Honestly, I don't get any notification about these updates (and you think I would). I didn't even know they were rebranding...

I only knew 9.5.1 was released when my customer requested a download to install 9.5 and it sent him a 9.5.1 link.

And in regards to the STEP file issue..

It seems it is known problem. It has been logged. In the meantime, either keep 9.5 installed and wait for a patch, or for a workaround you can install 9.5.1 into a new location, rename the Spatial folder to Spatial_951 and copy over the 9.5 Spatial folder.

That fixes the issue.

I haven't received any notice about V9.5.1 and don't see any pressing need to pursue it, especially
if it takes a hack to get it running properly.
I'll wait till they get it fixed and release it to the masses.
Thanks for posting the workaround
