I think the Republicans have lost their way when it comes to messaging. Getting tied up in culture wars and shit slinging isn't a good look for a party who is supposed to be a party of morals. It's pretty hard to find anyone from the younger generations who would admit to supporting almost any Republican candidate.

Thankfully our founders saw that possibility and went with the electoral college. Giving the rural areas the same power as the densely populated areas was genius.

And you'd be wrong about the younger generation. The young men are typically right leaning where young women are typically left leaning.

However this little forum is NOT reaching the audience of the MSM and even the WH Press Secretary who commonly refer to Trump as a 'threat to democracy'.

They are the ones stirring the pot with their rhetoric which reaches far more people than any forum, then they have the nerve to turn it around and victim shame the guy who got shot once, and narrowly escaped a second attempt.
