I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Why else would Zielinski be in town?

Because he wants more money.
Instead he should be back in his fucking country "fighting a war". But he'd rather be on vacation here in the U.S. Which shows me he doesn't deserve a fucking dime. Did he call a time-out so he could take a vacation?

The majority of the $$$ we allocate to the war in Ukraine actually gets spent here in the US
We are making 155mm artillery shells as fast as we can build them and are bringing new plants online.
A lot of $$ do get sent to Ukraine and no doubt some of it gets diverted... but much of what DC authorizes here in the US  vanishes as well. The money we are sending to Ukraine is a pitance compared to what we waste here at home.
Bullet trains to nowhere, $50 billion for a nationwide EV charge network, more billions for broadband for flyover country etc etc etc ... 100's of billions spent and zero results
I personally think it's important prevent Putin from achieving his goals in Ukraine.
If he succeeds there he will start moving west.
The only ray of light is that Putin is an old man and doesn't have many years left.
I can't believe his successors will have the stomach to continue Putin's catastrophic expansionist policies.

Is there still only 8 built across the country?

My 10bucks says the "infrastructure upgrade" isn't for increased charging points.
"They" want less on the roads anyway.
The infrastructure is to power the massive rise in data centres.
