Cheney was by all accounts but one a loyal Republican. I believe she voted 99% party line, in lock step with the other Republicans. She did refuse to declare her fealty to the guy who tried to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power after the election, which is why she's vilified by the right. Country over party has no place in the Republican party any more.
