From what I read, she felt her brand was being stained by her time in the white house, especially after all the indictments against her dad, so she is avoiding politics now and focusing on both business and family.

Good for her. She always seemed to have gotten the lion share of brains in that family, at least with the part of her she shared with the public and media.

Apparently some of her siblings feel she's betrayed the family and are a little bitter about it.
