Quote from: Smit on November 01, 2024, 11:35 AMOh hell that's different. My apologies.

I kinda expected you to be a chicken chili kind of guy.  :harhar:

Hell no. My wife made Turkey meatloaf once. I couldn't eat it

My kettle is about 20 gallons. That's triple the recipe. A lot of cutting of peppers and onions. Nothing smells better sautéed in that iron kettle outside.

I made a Bobby Flay chili recipe a while back; I tracked down the different types of chilies he called for. I was afraid it would just blow the top of my head off, but it was delicious. Quite spicy, but delicious.

My wife made "chili" with chicken and sweet corn one time.

But she's from Canada so I informed her that was called bean soup around these parts.  :dopeslap:

My wife likes spaghetti in it. Mine has just enough beans to notice them. I prefer black beans.

He's the spice king. I'd love to try it.

I got mine from a Marlboro top 50 chili recipes I saw in a book.

Del.

Here is the recipe I use. I deviate slightly by using hot sausage and use my wife's canned tomato sauce instead of water. I also leave the kidney beans out.
