Because mental illness is celebrated and all too often medicated instead of actually treated in earnest. Make no mistake, I have absolutely no issues with the mental health profession. Matter of fact, when I was in rehab as a teenager my psychologist helped me immensely. Probably all told I was in therapy for ~12 months between '87 and '88. Fun fact... when I went to Community College 3 years after, my Psychologist was my Psyhchology Prof. ... and he was my 2nd son Brian's Psych prof too in 2015.

We have more people in therapy than perhaps any other time in history and yet snowflakeism continues to rise. Rational thought has given way to feelings. Healthy coping mechanisms have given way to absurd displays of narcissistic behavior.
