Some arsehole vandalised my car.

Ahoy!
So last night some mofo pulled the access gate off the basement carpark at my unit block and decided they would smash the window of my car.  I'm guessing they wanted to take it for a joyride as they had to walk past a dozen other cars to get to mine, but the alarm scared them off.

Good middle class to wealthy neighbourhood, secure carpark, quiet street (At night anyway).  I'm suspecting the car was targeted, but also know that a pro wouldn't have done this.  Just some low-life arseholes with nothing better to do.

Double glazed Maserati windows are cheap to replace right?

It's a shame that people have nothing better to do.
Hopefully karma will somehow come back around and kick them in the nuts.  

We had a rash of car vandalism and petty theft in our area a while back.
Luckily, more and more people have home security cameras nowadays.
The punks who were doing it in our town got caught on several different cameras, and are currently paying restitution.

I had someone smash the back side window on my wife's Mercedes minivan and steal my bag a couple years ago.  They got away with my work laptop, but the bag and the rest of the contents were found covered in blood in a nearby alley.  I had a knife blade in there that I'd been grinding from a file, sandwiched between papers, and it was already quite sharp.

I showed up to DND the following week with a character sheet speckled in dried blood.

Lol, I wish.  

Police tell me today that they have charged someone!  No cameras in the carpark, but I think a couple of dashcams and security cameras at some restaurants next door might have proved helpful.

Had the quote...$2200...6-8 weeks delivery from Italy.  FML, might see if I can get a window from a wrecker.
