If the facts the Congressional investigation uncovered are indeed true, they don't need a golden parachute because they feathered Joe's retirement nest quite nicely already.

That's one of the MAIN reasons they do NOT want to see Matt Gaetz appointed as AG.
He was privy to all of that investigative data the House subcommittee uncovered, so he could launch an actual criminal investigation into the dealings of Hunter Biden and Joe's brother Jim Biden which would not bode well for either one of them.

Joe may have some degree of personal immunity based on the recent SCOTUS ruling, but his family would NOT be covered under said immunity.
