however, there are a whole lot of people who were excessively charged and overly sentenced.
There was a grandmother who got 2 years for walking into the Capitol Building while a Capitol policeman held the door for her.
There were also people there who came with the intent of committing violence.

And YES, the insurrection charges, or lack thereof ARE a big deal.
The media trotted out that word and started throwing it around within minutes of the PROTEST, but what those people did never rose to the level of an actual insurrection.

So what?  And why is that a big deal?

I'll agree that pushing that narrative wasn't smart, but people still broke the law.

Yet when cities burned during the BLM and ANTIFA riots where multiple people did lose their lives, and millions of dollars worth of property damage was done, the same media insisted those were 'peaceful protests'.

You'll never see me defending that just to be clear. People did go to prison during those riots. Not enough in my opinion. That still doesn't justify what happens on Jan 6th.

I am fully convinced that career politicians ON BOTH SIDES are only lying to us when their lips are moving.

That's why I believe Trump is going out of his way to appoint people like Pete Hegseth, Pam Biondi, RFK Jr., Kash Patel, et al, who are NOT career politicians (i.e., swamp rats) and who WILL actually bring reform to the broken system we have been living under for decades.

The more the MSM howls about these people being 'unqualified' the better I think they will do their respective jobs.

Because they are ALL criminals by definition under 8 U.S.C 1324.

Many of them even went on to commit MORE crimes once they got here, so shouldn't they be at the front of the line for deportation?

Pay particular attention to this part:
8 U.S.C. 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii) makes it a crime to knowingly harbor, shield knowingly, or conceal an unauthorized alien, including providing shelter, food, finances; 

So by extension, every 'sanctuary' state and city is also in violation of this LAW, to include PERSONALLY the Governor(s) and Mayor(s) of said states and cities.

Yes, this IS THE LAW, and I couldn't agree with you more that anyone found guilty of breaking it should NOT get any kind of free pass.
