I've met him. At a previous employer I gave him and his group a tour of our facility one day. Management had an emergency meeting with corporate and I was the only one available with top security clearance to get him into the areas they wanted to see. UHG was our biggest customer.

Just a SWAG, but I'm early $$$ on an aggrieved customer as the shooter. :coffee:

They are our insurance company here at work.

Why? Was he an asshole or corrupt? I've never heard of the guy before.
We had United a few years back before switching to BCBS because it was cheaper, or at least that's what I was told.

If I was the CEO of the largest health insurance provider in the US with a $10M annual salary, I'd wouldn't be caught out in public without serious security.

Short answer, yes. Corrupt to the core. The link below is Axios so it definitely has a anti-biz spin, but it shows their insane lobbying efforts to get laws that help them and hurt their customers. These CEO's have bought our politicians to form the laws to keep them in mega profits while reducing true free market competition.

If it's not these guys, I'm staying in the bunker. First time I saw this footage, I thought it was sfx for SURE. South Africa is insane.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

NO tears for Health"care" providers' executives... EVER. They are some of the most vile humans to walk the planet. Whatever bad happens to them, they deserve it. Same with the Adobe guy that brought us software subscriptions. If that dude is on fire... I'm not even pissing to put it out.

The video shows the assassin's pistol repeatedly miss-firing
He had a silencer attached and the pistol was failing to cycle after every shot.
The killer had to rack the slide every time he fired.
IMO this rules out a professional hit.
No professional would ever take a modified and untested weapon on a job.
Had his victim had bodyguards, the killer would not have survived the attack.
