This trial is a modern day lynching.

Thank a democrat, they've always been great at lynchings.

I'm pinning you down because that argument isn't an intelligent argument.

so, make the case. Explain to me why I'm dumb.

I'm not saying that you're not intelligent..  You called me out.

Because I can tell you're trying to play dumb and you're a terrible actor.

Since you like memes so much I will show my argument in one.

And I know you're going to now say "bUt tHe pArTiEs sWiTcHeD sIdEs", yeah, sure they did. On that magical day when both sides just woke up and decided they were going to completely 180 their stance on everything.

No, I'm not going to lecture.

It sounds like you know the history, maybe?

"In 2005, Ken Mehlman, then Chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), formally apologized to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) for the Republican Party's exploitation of racial polarization, known as the "Southern Strategy," to win elections. Mehlman acknowledged that the strategy, employed by Republicans starting in the 1960s, had ignored the black vote and used racial appeals to attract white voters in the South. His apology was seen as a significant step towards acknowledging and atoning for the party's past mistakes.

Additionally, in 2005, Mehlman's apology was reinforced by other Republican leaders, including Michael Steele, the first black head of the RNC, who admitted that the party had given minorities little reason to vote for them due to the Southern Strategy."

I've always found it peculiar that the same people who like to talk about all of the progress we've made regarding race relations just love to bring up 200 year old racism and pretend that it is still some how relevant today.
