I also caught the first episode of the new NBC show, St. Denis Medical.

It's a 'mockumentary' in the style of 'The Office', and I think it was produced by some of the same people who made The Office.

The first episode was pretty good, so I will give it a chance.

I watched the first episode of Landman. watching BillyBob Thornton using a pipe wrench backwards killed the show for me. Come on! Nobody on that set told him to turn the wrench over for that scene? They hate him and decided to let him look dumb. that's the only reasonable explanation.

I noticed that also. And who beats on a pipe wrench with a hammer knowing a gas line is right there. I like BBT but he's a strange guy in real life.

Yeah, I think all of the good actors and actresses are a bit eccentric.

It was widely reported that when BBT was married to Angelina Jolie, they each had a small vial of the other's blood that they wore as a necklace.

I watched the first episode of Generation Kill yesterday. It's about the beginning days of the invasion of Iraq. It's an HBO production that's pretty highly rated. The first episode was OK, good enough to give it a good shot. It's only one season.

I watched Dirty Harry for the first time in a long time also. It was quite the sensation back in the early 70s.

Max has a lot of good entertainment on it. The Disney/Mas/Hulu bundle is worth the money spent, imho.

Just finished Generation Kill. It was based on the notes of a journalist who went with the Marines into Iraq.

You never know how much was realistic and how much was artistic, but it sure didn't paint a very good picture of the planning and leadership of that invasion.

Hmmm....what next?

I just finished Season 2 of 'Tulsa King'.

Very entertaining, and the way Season 2 ends, there MUST be a Season 3!!
