I have something that is making me feel like shit. Flu, covid, a cold; i don't know which and I don't much care.

There is something going around
About a dozen people at work called in sick last week.
I attributed it to trying to extend the Charismas vacation
but I came down with something last weekend.
I felt bad enough that I went to urgent care on Sunday the 22nd.
They gave me a covid test and chest x-rays and diagnosed me with a cold.
I called in sick Monday the 23rd and have been down for most of the Christmas break
Today is the first day I've felt halfway normal.

I had it 3 weeks ago.

102 temp ,didn't eat for 5 days , lost 9 lbs. lasted 7 days.

and was on the serious side of dehydration.

I had 102 temp for two days and was pissing out my ass for 4.

Drank a full bottle of Nyquil Flu until I was pissing green.

Naproxen and acetaminophen alternating.

Urgent care would have been smart.

But I have never been accused of that.

Add me to the list. Came down with it Saturday night. Fired out both ends at the same time for about 8 hrs. Lost about 11 lbs in a day. 102 degree fever. Took some Ibprofen and Pepto. Still liquid shit, but feeling better. I have gotten a lot of sleep. Just ate some real food for the first time in about 2 days. It's not fun and can see how someone could get dehydrated. I guess if Slick Willy has it too, I'm in good company
