The articles I've read say his resignation will trigger a "snap" election. whatever that is.

Nothing that patriotic but a groundswell of hate for Turdeau (Yes Turd-oh!!!) since the trucker blockade in Ottawa. I am turning 58 in March and have never witnessed the visible hate for any political leader like this previously. The left wing party voters (vote by party regardless) like my in-laws will keep supporting this left wing crap. The right wing opposition is going top get elected and one of their agendas is to defund the CBC state media (biased leftwing media outlet). The CBC looses money yet the management gives out performance bonus's (all funded by a government that is deep in debt).

We have 4.5 main political parties:

Conservatives (right of center)
Liberals (formerly left of center, now hard left socialists)
NDP (Far left socialists, they share the same platform as the liberals now)
Block Quebecois (Only in Quebec but their platform is to separate Quebec from Canada)
Green Party (this is 1/2 party but growing)

With the current minority government, the liberals make deals with the NDP and or Block to get support for their bills  to pass legislation. In order for there to be an early election the liberals have to dissolve government on their own (ask the Governor general to do this) or get voted out in vote of non-confidence while trying to pass a bill through legislation. The NDP has been Turdeau's bitch but now claim they will bring down the government (I will believe this when I see it as they are trying to get their pensions).

articles all at the same time.
They are taking their marching orders from leftist propaganda outlets and regurgitating it word for word.
I'm sure the same thing is going on in Canada.
Much of the global warming, peak oil gloom and doom and the money that funds it comes straight from the Soviet
Ministry of Propaganda.
The Soviets have been working to undermine the west's energy independence since the 60's.
