Those hotels don't get built because the house is losing...

FEW are the people that are ahead of the house.  ERY FEW!

Years ago....prolly 12 now, a service eng mate was telling me of a machine visit he'd done to a roulette table manufacturer (i guess best not to say where) and they supply everywhere - Vegas too.
He was explaining how the centre bearing is hydro-static and "loadable"....so when the bets are done, and the table is spun, as it spins, it can be externally moved eccentrically so the ball WILL drop, wherever they want it to....

They can easily fool themselves into forgetting the first and only rule...

THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS!!!

Well, Technically I came out of a casino a while back with $2500.  Went in there with $450.

I understand your statement, I'm definitely less than 50%.  It's just entertainment for me, I've never went to an ATM in a casino, that's asking for it

YUP... my MIL's second husband had a system and ALWAYS won. ::)
Went to the horse track everyday in his $1000 ostrich skinned cowboy boots
and Johnny Cash jet black suits and ALWAYs came home with $400-500 more than he left the house with.
After he died, she discovered all his winnings and flashy suits were being paid for by raiding her savings accounts
and maxing out a dozen credit cards he took out in her name.
Fortunately, he died before she ran out of money.
I tried to tell her he was a "wrong un" but in her eyes he was a winner and could do no wrong

Two weeks ago I won a poker hand for just over $2000 fifteen minutes after I sat down. On the river bet I put in what I had left with four clubs. I caught the king of clubs on the river for a flush. I didn't have a hand until the river and the guy across the table from me noticed it and got all wound up about me going all in on the river but I was down to a little less than $100 and decided to throw it all in and try to make make some players fold. No one did.
