Glad all is well, heart issues confront me on all sides, so I get it.

Grampa drove himself to the ER in the 70s, said "I think I might be having a heart attack". He was in for a triple bypass that visit. Plumbing upgrades lasted him another 20 years too, but they obviously weren't pleased that he got there by himself.

I drove myself to hospital having a heart attack. I first drove to an urgent care and said to myself, this might not be the place to go.

Did you get away with stents/angioplasty? Or did they open you up?

Gave me a clot buster and 3 days later a stent.

Thank you. I was 42 at the time. 25 years later I haven't had any issues but have been on 5 meds ever since and get checked once a year.
