WOW

QuoteEXCLUSIVE: President-elect Trump will sign more than 200 executive actions on Inauguration Day—a massive, first wave of policy priorities focused on border security, energy, reducing the cost of living for American families, ending DEI programs across the federal government, and more, Fox News Digital has learned.

A senior administration official who is familiar with the executive actions and authorized to brief Fox News Digital said Trump on day one will end "Catch and Release;" pause all offshore wind leases; terminate the electric vehicle mandate; abolish the Green New Deal; withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord; and take several major steps to assert presidential control over the federal bureaucracy.

The official said Trump will sign multiple "omnibus" executive orders that each contain dozens of major executive actions.

More governance by Executive Order...

Yay

The usage of XO's, especially the last few Presidents is not how things are supposed to be done.

Sadly, each side cheers when their side does it.

It's very very shit. And is leading one way on a very slippery slope....

Yes.and no. Reading through the list of expected Executive Orders, it reads more like an undoing of the last 4 years of complete and total Executive Order fuckery. That, I will cheer. Because 99% of it was #OrangeManBad policy.

Personally, I'd rather congress do their jobs. Executive Orders were never meant to used in the manner they have been. It's sad really.

I'm glad that the Biden Cartels fuckery is getting undone, but would prefer
laws be passed by the Congress and Senate.
The tit for tat EO's every time the administration changes is really bad for business.

Take the Keystone pipeline
Canada started trying to expand the Keystone Pipeline in 2008 and fought environmental lawsuits
from day one.
The Obama Admin rejected it in 2015, then Trump gave it a green light via EO in 2016.
Biden killed it via EO in 2021 when it was months from completion, wiping out years of work,
an investment of billions of dollars and about 15K jobs.
Now Trump is talking about starting it up again.
Given the billions invested and lost already, and the certainty that a new Democratic Admin would kill it
again, I doubt the Canadians are ever remotely interested in getting back on that horse.

The ironic part is, the Dem's killed it because "climate change", but the oil still comes south
via rail and truck. This is far more dangerous and creates way more green house gases than a pipeline ever
would.

My wife is a gov employee with a 3 letter agency (not ATF, Fbi, or CIA).
She's been permanent WFH for the past 5 years.  She's afraid Elon is gonna make her go back into the office.
I'm all for people getting their ass back into work, but there should be some exceptions.
I'm familiar with what she does and I can say that there's zero reason for her to be  In an office

We'll see I guess

Yeah, trucking and rail is WAY more dangerous.

As hard as I tried to wrap.my head around the looney's POV on the pipeline, NONE of it held ANY water. Was it 100% safe? No. NOTHING is. Was it safer that trucking and rail? Absolutely.  Was it a more efficient transportation than rail and trucking? No doubt.

I think the bigger issue Elon is bringing to light is the BILLIONS wasted on unnecessary Government infrastructure....that OUR hard earned money goes to paying the freight on. I think the other point he is making is how many people do we actually need to run the government?

Your wife still technically has an office building where for lack of a better term she is stationed right? I'm guessing is still a viable office building with a security detail, maintenance staff, etc? You see that point right?

How about an executive order telling the judicial branch to do their f*ing job. SCOTUS constantly kicking the can down the road on our second amendment being in a perpetual state of limbo is some major f**kery.

I just wish each branch would do THEIR job, and their job only. Make the laws. Sign the laws. Enforce the laws.

And these agencies... They should not be making laws and regulations at all. Period. These unelected bureaucrats ruling over our lives... in perpetuity, is just WRONG!

I'm all for, undoing anything that shouldn't have been instigated.
But as always, it's down to the detail - fine tooth comb needed for all of this, incase something "small gets slipped in"....
