Yes.and no. Reading through the list of expected Executive Orders, it reads more like an undoing of the last 4 years of complete and total Executive Order fuckery. That, I will cheer. Because 99% of it was #OrangeManBad policy.

Personally, I'd rather congress do their jobs. Executive Orders were never meant to used in the manner they have been. It's sad really.

If you recall, Trump led with Executive Orders in his first Presidency, partially because the Repugs were incapable of governing, even though they had majorities in all branches. Everyone here was OK with it. More than OK.

When Biden took office everyone here was, predictably, outraged about his EO's.

It looks like the new normal to me.

You know when he's giving a speech he's reading other peoples words off a teleprompter right? So anything uplifting is likely to be somebody else's words.

When he goes off script and starts rambling aimlessly you will know he's speaking for himself.

But he just might accidentally say something in his rambling that can be interpreted as uplifting.
