Trump sat motionless during it, not sure where that shows he didn't like it. Vance squirmed and rolled his eyes a bit, but I see that as more of a "oh come on, not this again" type feeling.  I know the loony lefties would have gotten up and cheered for her, but can we not just move on from the fear mongering?

More draconian laws so the gov can spy on personal bank account, automatically remove money from your account and looking to also remove your driving licence for restriction of movement.
All with no court action.
Be interesting what appeal process there will be - probably a Ai activated chatbot....

Yes but what would have to take place to make them revoke your driver's license? Or remove money from your account?

It initially is "for people who recieve benefits"
So if they have been "paid too much" it can be automatically taken back.
Unsure of how many payments actually are too much as my Dad doesn't get full pension because he missed a couple of payments in the 70s (saidGov - he denies) so the Gov said show us your bank statement proving you paid 🙄

So this will effect everyone who is receiving anything - sick benefit, unemployment etc AND pension.
So they can look at everyone's bank account seeing all transactions and all history etc with NO court order.

Oh, I've lived in Michigan long enough to understand that. Michigan, and much of the Midwest, is a cultural wasteland, and the home of some of the worst bigotry I've seen since the mid-eighties. TBH, I didn't even realize that people still thought (and talked in public) like some that I've encountered, let alone supposedly educated, professional adults. It's fucking sickening and an embarrassment. Glad to know there are many on this board who not only condone, but participate in the same behavior.
