TBF... you have to get in the Way Back Machine and go WAY back to find a POTUS who's net worth DROPPED by taking the job of POTUS.

And for him to go back and do it again. Enough of the "personal gain" shit. The left HATE Trump and EVERYONE associated with him. And the fact he's going scorched earth on their sorry asses... maybe they'll should have though about that while they were mistreating the hell ot of him, his friends and his family.

If you try to kill the boss, you better succeed. Because if you don't, expect life as you know it to be over.

That's true.

Is it going to be about the people, or personal wealth?

He probably does deserve to get some back after what he's been put through.  He can still win for the little people?

Setup your son as a Ukrainian oil gas executive and Chinese influence peddler and a art painter for the purpose of laundering even more money. Make sure they save "10% for the big gay".
As a final stroke of genius level corruption you brake years long promises to not to dole out pardons for the crime family you orchestrated by doing it just before the door hits you in your feeble ass.
I'm still not passing too much judgement.  You're right in that we should pay attention to the actions. It's still early.

go ahead pass judgment, the receipts are in.

No tax on tips benefits the little people in a very real, tangible way, so YES, he is already winning for the little people.

Sure, as long as tariffs don't cause prices to go up. Then that minor tax break disappears.

Right, because the last 5 years of trillions and trillions of helicopter money for various boondoggles didn't have no effect. But importers have a little bit more of a hard time.... And it's Neuro freakout time. ;D

Hmmm.

Pulling out of the Paris agreement...AGAIN. We were paying $300mill, China pays $35 mill. After we pulled out the first time, they offered to lower our fee to $35mill...Biden got into office and said... nah, we're paying $300mill.

Common sense things, I don't see how someone can logically say those are personal grievances.

Right...and we have discussed that too.

I see Trump using tariffs, or the THREAT of tariffs as a negotiating tool rather than across-the-board, one-size-fits-all bandages to fix the economy.

If he uses them SELECTIVELY (which I believe is his intent) they could potentially help the economy more than hurt it.

WHOA!
The 'no tax on tips' measure is NOT a MINOR tax break!

From what I can gather, tips represent between 20 and 30 percent of the total income for most tipped workers.
https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/business/money-report/how-much-of-restaurant-workers-income-comes-from-tips-in-every-u-s-state-in-one-map/5981256/

I don't know about you, but I would never consider 20-30% of my income to be minor!
For some people this is a VERY big deal!

One CNC operator that I worked with ended up waiting tables, and a Programmer that I worked with had to take a 2nd job at Cabelas. Maybe if Trump brings manufacturing back to some degree maybe it will be more than tax breaks.

Send them to our shop. We can't find qualified people.

I remember a day when people looked for jobs in machine shops. Now, if the shop owner doesn't reach out, he can't get anyone to apply. Even when he reaches out he can't get people to show up for job interviews.
