Trump told him to lay off climate.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

If he's being honest, and he doesn't bring his anti-vax b/s along with it, I agree.

I do remember everyone shitting all over Michelle Obama for trying make America healthy. You know...  personal rights and all (it's my right to be fat, eat like shit, and smoke myself to death).  I'd like to see if the same happens with RFK.  Maybe we'll get it from the other side this time?  Wouldn't that be ironic?   :D

My mother-in-law who was a big Obama supporter and still votes democrat every election, hated Michelle Obama's health policy. Which caught me by surprise, because my MIL herself is big on eating healthy food. She worked in a school cafeteria for years, and they were mandated to start serving whole fruits and vegetables to the kids. Which seemed like a good idea. The kids were throwing them all away. It increased the amount of money the cafeteria had to spend each day on food, and it was all getting thrown away. So then the cafeteria mandated, to try and enforce obama's policy, that the kids had to come through the line twice. Once to eat their fruits and vegetables and after they were gone, come through again to get the rest of the food. the kids, just threw the vegetables away and didn't come through the line a second time, then they complained they were hungry later and started taking advantage of the fact that there was a program for poor starving children, which provided PB&J sandwiches.

2 programs both started by democrats working against each other and causing wasteful spending.

Let's Move!

Wasn't it funded by taking money from the SNAP program?

I feel like this is partially the fault of the parents for teaching their children to eat shit food in the first place.

That's probably also another subject for a different thread.

mark me down as still being in the personal rights camp. Although, I don't smoke and I'm trying eat healthy. I'm also for mandating the removal of ingredients from food, that could kill us, and is only there to make the food look appetizing.

And that shit food is full of chemicals that make you want more shit food. And those chemicals are 100% legal. But trust the science!!! THAT is what RFK is wanting to get rid of.

Michelle Obama had the right idea... A for the idea F for the implementation/execution.

People (especially people in tbe USA) do not like to be told what to do. When someone imposes their will on you, is in your nature to push back.

"Do this because it's good for you". Vegans like to pull that shit. They aren't helping their cause, and meat IS healthy for you.

Anyway, had they taken the time to talk to your average student, give them some agency (choices), they could have improved the situation.  But no, they know what's best for you so eat this and like it.

Fuckin' kommie Democrats.
