The libs claiming tariffs don't work are the same ones that claim higher corporate taxes do work.

The ingredients to make Fentanyl are made in China from what I understand.

I think that depends on what you mean by "don't work"? Nobody I've seen disputes that it generates revenue. It's whether or not they accomplish what's intended or the unintended consequences that are disputed. That goes for Republicans and Libertarians as well.

One of the video's I posted above is from the WSJ. Hardly the voice of the liberal party.

Once the inflation is under control, we probably won't even notice the new tariffs, if they're still in place.

That might depend on who you are?  I think they're (tax foundation) projecting something like an $800 per household increase in 2025 with the current tariffs in place?

1. Exactly. "Don't work" is rather subjective.

2. The voice of the WSJ is whatever BlackRock/Vanguard/State street tell them to voice.

That's why I posted three video's from three different places. Something for everyone.  :D

They all say the same thing.

That is a win.

I wonder what happens at the end of that month delay.

Did you just admit that Trump's tariffs work?
Holy Shit!

As a negotiating tactic, yes. I've said that in other threads.

Over the weekend Trump said that there was NOTHING Canada or Mexico could do to stop the tariffs. That didn't leave me with a lot of confidence.

I will say this. This weekend was the first time I've heard Trump say that the tariffs are going to hurt. Prior to that he insisted that other Countries paid for them.
