Well meh Penguins seem to be getting it together and starting to look like a cup contender.
Malkin seems to have finally found his game, and he and Kapanen seem to be clicking on that 2nd line.

Dunno what happened to Boston lately, but the wheels are coming off after a great start to the season.

Yes, Minnesota is definitely fun to watch with those younguns putting on a great show.

is he really gone though?  They didn't fire him, pretty much just told him to use the rest of his paid leave before he retires at the end of the season anyway.

Yeah I think the league is just going to let him bow out as gracefully as they can while still giving the appearance of actually doing something "for the good of the game..."  

I think everyone knows the refs in any sport have personal biases, only this guy was dumb enough to say it out loud.  

The league couldn't let this one slide because it was caught on a hot mic and heard by a huge audience on tv.
So Tim Peele will use his remaining sick time and vacation, then take his retirement a few months earlier than he had planned, and the league gets credit for being tough.  

If the NHL was REALLY interested in doing things "for the good of the game", cheap-shot headhunters like Tom Wilson would be dealt with accordingly, but they are not.
Instead, Wilson gets yet ANOTHER suspension, this time 7 games.
That comes to 5 suspensions now, for a total of 36 games.
How many is enough to kick the guy out?
What a joke.
They are going to wait until this guy ends someone's career, and that will be a crying shame when it happens.

The lock out when they had your season tickets money making interest and they would refund you quarterly.

I watch them sparingly but I am no longer a fan.

I didn't watch an NFL game this year because of the political nonsense, but it would take alot for me to not watch the Penguins.

not NHL, but did you see the UMD vs UND game Saturday?  Longest game in NCAA tournament history.  Went into the 5th overtime.  Good thing those boys didn't have to play again the next day.

Also, 3 Minnesota teams in the Frozen Four, including my alum MSU-Mankato!
