Plane crash

This is not good...

Not only was helicopter altitude a problem, add NVG's and their Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast was off. While technically permitted (NVG's and ADS-B) there doesn't seem at the moment be a compelling reason for BOTH to be off.

Sounds like Army Aviation training procedures are going to be rewritten in Washington DC.

Once again safety procedures are being written in blood.

This one is going to cost the US Taxpayers... With it being an Army failure and an FAA failure. Going to cost BIG!

You realize that airplane crashes only look far more frequent now only because the DC crash, right? It happens every time a big headline making crash happens they focus on them for a few months then all goes back to a normal news cycle.

And from what I've heard about this particular crash, the landing gear possibly had a failure.
