Just got an email from Gosiger offering up to 42% off.
It sounds like showroom models.

I just got the same email.
These machines are too small for this shop.
There are some real good deals there and the quantities available
are too large for these to be machines sitting in showrooms

I don't know if this link will work or  not

I assume that's the amount they have spread out over all of their locations?

Doesn't' 400k seem kinda expensive for this machine? You are in high end German 5ax territory with that pricing...

That's because the high end German machine comes with 2 service techs included in the purchase price.

I couldn't tell ya. All I know is that Okuma makes a damn fine machine. Been running them since the mid-90's.

I head to Melbourne (Australia) on Monday to take a look at some Okuma horizontals. We're looking at a MA600HIII with a Big Plus 50 spindle, six pallets, and 285 tool matrix.

If it does go ahead, it will be a good complement for the LB15 and LB400 lathe, the MB56 four axis vertical, MU500 5 axis, and the U3000 and B400W mill turns.

What do you build on all these very nice machines?

Dairy pump components, Milking machine components, irrigation fittings, and a range of various contract machined parts/components.

I also program and machine wax dies and casting dies as well.

On a serious note, they do make a good machine. I think they probably overestimated demand and have to offload the inventory or, these are loss leaders.

WAY better than;
D - Down
M - Machine
G - Guaranteed

I will bet they are machines that got ordered, with a non-refundable down payment, the customer went belly up in the meantime, and now they have a bunch of machines to get rid of with reduced prices from the down payment. That is, if they are all in the same one or two places. If they are scattered throughout their system, then likely floor models.
