I don't. I never met the guy. I know that he endorsed Obama in 2008-2012, Clinton in 2016, Biden in 2020 and now Trump in 2024. I don't know if he thinks 20 steps ahead of the rest of us, or if he just reacts quickly to circumstances and turns them in to Gold for himself, or both. I don't know if he's a democrat or a republican, a conservative, or a progressive, or just in it for himself. Maybe he wants to be lord of the world and this is his first step. Who knows?

All I know is that I've been wanting the waste out of federal spending for a long time, and he seems to want that too. I'm waiting to see what he uncovers.

Ok, so we won't find out about Trump's records till then. Why doesn't USAID just disclose the info themselves about where the money is going? That would be vindication, wouldn't it?

I hope that any corruption found wrapped around USAID comes to light.  It seem like USAID is the only hill Republicans are standing on right now.

it's just the first place they started. Defense has always been a big republican untouchable, but Trump says that his administration is going to be looking into that as well. I guess we'll see.
