You guys are smart driving paid for vehicles. One of the worst financial decisions is financing expensive vehicles. Trucks and big SUV's are outrageous. I can't imagine financing a $90,000 vehicle.

So I said Fuck you.

Drove that Truck for Ten Years. I still miss it.

Those still had the straight front axle. I think they changed to independent in 86? I would love to have one of those right now. I'd use it for off-roading.

I told the wife to be extra careful shoveling the driveway tomorrow. That's ❤️ love.

If you really loved her you would let her use your leaf blower.

My wife's 2018 Suburban has heated seats and heated steering wheel. TOTAL game changer. We will ALWAYS have at least one vehicle with such luxuries. Not negotiable.

Dang....all you boys with newfangled tech.
I bought a 30 yr old geotracker because it's registered as classic.
This then lets me smoke it around anywhere, including and importantly, any "low emission zone" which restricts cars of pre 2006.
Win Win....

Wife's 2015 Lexus RX350 is just hummin along at 140K. Had it since 40K. Zero dollars spent on repairs.

My dad bought her old '07 RX350 from us. It's about to roll 300K. I replaced one rear wheel bearing at 200K and put a new water pump on it at 250K(that was a bitch). He replaced the struts and lower control arms recently. Since we've done all the work ourselves, the total parts bill for repairs is around $1500. Not bad for 300K.

I on the other hand drive Audis.

I love to drive them, but damn, they could learn a thing or two about building cars that last from Lexus. I would absolutely NEVER recommend owning one to anybody who can't work on them. Parts alone are ridiculously expensive.

And in other cold weather news... I threw the griddle on the grill last night and made smash burgers at 8°...

Cause I'm not a pussy.

Also remote start.
My wifey calls the heated seats 'bun warmers', and as soon as I told her the new car I was looking at had remote start and heated seats, she said "SOLD!"
