I voted to keep it too. Like gcode, I'd miss this place. I rarely post in the OT because every post is political, and it gets boring. If thats your thing, fine, but I like good general banter.

The industrial side is good, but its slow sadly. But at least we can criticise software there, and not have an Obersturmbannfuhrer send us to the cage for it, like another Canadian forum.

But, its your call Neuro. If it is causing you grief, that isn't a good thing.

I've been staying out of the back and forth over Trump, Musk and DOGE for the last week or so.
There's just no point in it. No one's mind will be changed and it finally just got
boring.

When it's all said and done, it's neuros's field, his bat, ball and glove. If he wants to
take the ball and go home, the game is over.

and as I've said before I'd be happy to contribute funds to help defray the cost of running

There's a little banter there. The inside jokes can be hilarious if you've been around long enough.
