Is that the one with Jeff Bridges?

Yea.

I thought it was a good series. I'm surprised it got cancelled.

We did too.

I've stopped trying to figure out why they cancel stuff. I mean they keep stuff on that has horrid ratings and drop stuff that has top 5 ratings. Makes no sense.

Just finished season 1 of "The Wire."

It's old but it got very good viewer ratings.

I'd say it's good, not great.

For a movie I'm rewatching "Miracle", about the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey team shocking the world and winning the gold medal.

Since I remember the way it gripped the nation, I think it's one of the great sports films ever. I'm not sure somebody who wasn't there can really get it, but if you haven't seen it, it's definitely worth a watch.

Back in action on Netflix is pretty good with Jamie Fox and Cameron Diaz.

I just started Season 2 of 'The Old Man', and yes, it is very good.

Why they keep some shows and cancel others is also beyond my understanding.

For example, the Netflix series 'Mindhunter' aired for 2 seasons back in 2017-2019 and was fantastic.
It was loosely based on the real-life story of John Douglas and others involved in the formation of the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit in the late 1970's, with a particular emphasis on the development of criminal profiling as a technique to identify and apprehend serial killers.

I was shocked when that was cancelled after just two seasons because of how good it was!
There have been rumors swirling that Netflix may continue with a Season 3 at some point, but nothing definitive.

I would DEFINITELY watch that series if they decide to continue it.

I loved Deadwood. Only on 2-3 seasons with great reviews. 10 years afterwards they made a movie with all but one remaining character. Cocksuckers!

American Primeval has been good. The West was ruthless! I was surprised to read that some of the events in that series are true.

I really like Peripheral. I was disappointed when it wasn't renewed.

Watching The Recruit.

It's about this twenty-something hot-shot lawyer at the CIA that gets tangled up in some shit.

It's pretty good. A little predictable in some respects but entertaining.

American Primeval on Netflix.

Goddamn. It's a rough watch. But still good.

Yeah. Pretty violent.

Season two premiere of 1923 was very good. Taylor Sheridan is showing his freak side though with the sex scenes.

Is 1923 a prequel to Yellowstone?

If someone saw neither series, which one would be best to watch first?

Yes it is. I think I'd start with Yellowstone then 1923. The family tree takes some studying. 1883 pretty much just shows how the Duttons ended up in Montana.
