This'll make me sound older than Smit, but in 1992 as a poor, lowly, skinny apprentice, I would go to Burger King daily for lunch. It was just a couple doors down from the shop and the McD's was across some railroad tracks.

Everyday I would get a double Whopper w/cheese meal, medium. It cost $3.33. I always took exact change. Somewhere around 1994 it jumped to $3.79. It broke $4 in 1996 and I was out.

That's not that much split between 5 guys.

I never thought about it. No wonder they're so expensive.

Same here.  in High school 1994 burger king had what they called two for two.  2  small burgers and 2 small fries for $2.00.  after tax it was $2.13

They've always been outrageously expensive.
Their seasoned fries are pretty good, and you get 300lbs of them when you order a small.

(Never been to a 5 guys)

This is serious. We can't go on with these prices. Its insanity.

Being inside an airport probably jacked up the prices 30% or more, Mike. (I would hope!)

It's kinda hard to turn around four years of Bad Management. 8)
