Back in the mid 90's, me and my Alaskan Malamute Bandit stopped at a McDonald's for a burger.
I ordered 2 quarter pounders with cheese.
When I gave him his burger he sniffed it and said, "No Dad, I'm not eating that."
I tore off a little bite an held it out for him and it was still "No, Dad, not gonna eat that"
He looked genuinely hurt that would feed him that burger.
It looked and smelled fine to me, but I thought about it a minute.
Here's a hungry 130 pound dog, 20 maybe 25 generations removed from a wolf.
His sense of smell is a 1000 times better than mine, and he's not touching that burger.
I haven't eaten at a McDonalds, Burger KIng, Jack in the Box or any of their ilk sense.
