I know there used to be a company that made STI Bolts.
For fixturing before helicoils are installed.
Can not find any resource.
Will have to modify SHCS as needed if I can't find any.
(4-40 STI in this case)

Anybody????

We've looked before, always ended up making our own.

If someone makes them, I'd love to know too.

Some areas have different names for them.

Describe what you are looking for.

He's looking for oversized socket head cap screws that will fit into holes that have been tapped for a Helicoil insert.

I've never seen a source for them personally.

I heard a rumor fastenal carries them. Holo Krome is the manufacturer.

We had bought them locally. Just not sure which source.

Might even be McMaster-Carr.
