Watch for it tonight .1 degrees between Jupiter and Saturn

The next one after that? 25th century.

Interesting note, this conjunction occurred in 2 B.C., when most scholars believe Jesus was born. Could this be what they were looking at? (the Bethlehem star)

For any trying to see it, you have to go out right after sunset, I believe, or it will dip below the horizon. My wife and I ran out later last night because it's supposed to be cloudy for us tonight, and it was already gone....

Cloudy. Can't see any stars (or planets). It's 2020. Rare astrological event and (figures...of course)

If you can see the southwest sky, it's clearly visible right now on the west coast.
I'd guess it's about 20° up from horizontal
That is something no one has seen for 800 years

We missed it because of too much cloud cover.

too many clouds,bummer. my mil and sil are in Florida and they had a great view but didn't meet their expectations. Guess they were waiting for a giant star with a tail.......  :roll:
