I recently went bed shopping.  I am looking at getting an adjustable bed.  Holy  :poop: those TEMPUR-PEDIC mattresses are $2900.-$4100. for just the mattress!  The adjustable frame is another $1600.

What bed do you sleep on?  Do you like it?

I have a memory foam mattress I like a lot. It came with an adjustable frame with the option to upgrade it to a premium frame, which I didn't do.

I think I paid about $1500. Needless to say it wasn't a TEMPUR-PEDIC.

We bought our adjustable frames and memory foam mattresses off Amazon. We side by side twin XL so they make king size. It works great because we can adjust them separately as needed. I like to have a couple inches of tilt on my side and my wife likes hers flat. I think we spent about $1200 total but that was in 2018.

we just bought a Nectar adjustable bed, split king. It's great! We spent about 4k for the whole bed/mattress combined.

We sleep on an old school waterbed
It cost a couple of hundred dollars 30 years ago.
The mattress and heater need replacing every once in a while.

I might get one off Amazon also.  I'm currently looking at this one.  And maybe getting the Tempur-Pedic later on.

Do you ever change the water or is it like bong water, never to be tampered with?

Next question.  Does anyone have sleep apnea?  Does an adjustable bed help, and do you use a CPAP machine?

I got one of these last summer/fall during one of the prime day deals. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. Bonus, its a shitton less $$$ than the name brand shit.

I have sleep apnea and wear a full face mask. We got our adjustable beds about 6 years ago and love them. Went to a place called bed in a box. Cheapest place we could find. The adjustable bed with my cpap work wonderful. The adjustable beds will sometime come with a snoring position and it lifts your head and your feet slightly. I will never sleep as well on another setup. When we go camping I miss it very much. After a day of standing on the cement all day it feels so good to have my feet up slightly.

Add into it I've had two lower back surgeries. The leg lift really helps that as well.

Have you tried just the bed without the CPAP?
