Little late on starting this thread, but anyway.
They've had great weather and have been scoring lights out. I knew Rose couldn't hang thru the third round. Before the tournament I picked Åberg, Cantlay, and Rory. Turns out DeChambeau is on a heater as well. Tomorrow should be fun!
I'm playing at 9:30 in the morning so I can get back and watch the action.

Edit: @Jeff - World's number One Golfer Scotty is close to the lead as well

Announcers are not allowed to use the word " Fan" there because club thinks it refers to fanatics. Have to call them patrons.

An announcer back in the 90's said the greens weren't mowed, but were bikini waxed. Tom Watson wrote a letter to Augusta and that guys was banned from there permanently. Some stuffy rich pricks there but it's a beautiful venue. I don't think they sell tickets but they are passed down.

I remember hearing a theory that the term "fans" does not refer to the word "fanatics" but rather "fancies," owing to the fact that spectators of sporting events used to dress up in their fanciest cloths to attend. No idea if it has any merit, but look at a picture of the spectators of a baseball game way back when. Men ae dressed in suits and top hats, and women (what few there were) are wearing fancy dresses and hats.
